Day Thirty-four - 27 Sept 08

Yes, I did woke up 6am today just to boil the hotdogs and hams that needed for our pinic!
Quick prepare and off we set off to the Botanic Garden of Wuhan. (Wuhan Botanical Garden Chinese Academy of Sciences)Yeap, wasn't a huge fan of flowers (they doesn't have lavender). But did took pictures of the catus and some beautiful flowers in the garden. (:
It's a big ball shape of catus!
Sam and karen with the flowers indoor.
Initially was excited to visit the kiwifruit garden but all we could see is kiwis yet cannot reached it.
Loads of kiwis there. US! 3 of them bought the hitting air sticks for RMB5. :D

Saw all of us wearing our jackets or long sleeves? That because the weather is freezing cooling. Heard that it was 20 degrees today.
And we wouldn't experience it back in S'pore. I will miss this kind of weather and it's 9 more days!
People staring at us wherever we go as we are only the minorities who wore short pants out.
Hee, and I overheard a guy telling his friend: "we(they themselves) are the one who's afraid of cold."

Nothing much inside the Botanic Garden. Took a picture with our Mr Puah whose porridge is superb! :D

Next stop we headed to the Moshan Hill. That's the CHU dynasty and more good pictures ahead!

Heading to the shopping spree.

And seriously, look what Teck Yi and I saw?
From far I thought is those local people dressing up like the dynasty people and walk around.
However, it was Benji and Fiza. Just RMB10 and they are able to try out the clothes.
And from them...

To them...

And all of them!Cool isn't it?
:D
Those people who didn't changed (like me), so what did we do?
.
.
.
.
We become their photographer, their nanny!
*Behind us they look like some kind of chinese opera performance huh!

Look what's the cute boy doing with the "boy"? :D

Went around to explore the place.

And... guess what? The most best part.
Pinic time!
This is the hotdogs and hams I've boiled, together with the raisin bread since plain bread was out of stock when we wanted to buy last night.Half of the peeps! It was nice chilling with them and playing sorts of primary school games there for more than a hour since we didn't want to went up the highest 楼 while another half of the peeps continued their journey exploring.

A duper sleepy day and yes! Last week for slacking, shopping and cherishing...

Day Thirty-three - 26 Sept 08

Counting down from 10 more days, and shall say goodbye to Wuhan.
Yeap, finally had our IS presentation which I think all of us have done well.
Present to you my group mates!
Clar, Teck Yi and Julian
:D
*Thanks to both of the guys for suiting us whatever we request from them.
(:

And the girls us. Wore smart causal for our presentation.

That's Benji! Whom I've went to Vietnam last year with on this day.
:D

In the LT room and taking pictures with Clar and Amirah!

After the presentations which lasted for about 5 hours and off we headed to Walmart for our pinic at their Botanic Garden tomorrow!
Haha, that's Karen and me!

And they sell such a big teddy for RMB88.
And guess what? sweetest Karen Shui bought one for me for my way long belated birthday.
I love you Karen!
:D

Headed to the KFC for short snacks and that's Bob first joining us!
*Bob is my new teddy! why Bob? hee, that's our joke between us. :D

Took a cab back to hostel quickly in order not to late for our dinner treated by Mr Puah for celebrating all the September babies.
Took a number of cabs after coming here, and found that the driver don't really want to collect coins for your fare.
For instance, one time we took for RMB10.10. He declined keeping the 10cents as he said it's useless.
And in the afternoon, we took a cab for RMB12.20. But end up the driver asked for RMB13.
So well, they either round up or down. Wondering, back in S'pore, it is usually us, passengers decline for the change...

Some of us. While waiting for enough table for the 11 of us while the other half start eating first.

And finally our own small room for our delicious dinner treated by Mr Puah.
Love Mr Puah and it's an enjoyable moment eating together with the 10 of them! :D

Lastly, HAPPY 18TH to SHIUAN! Hope you have a good one and love the flowers shared by the 5 of us!
Not forgetting my bestie in S'pore Miss Gan Yun Hua!
It's been the 2nd year since I didn't celebrate with her on her b'day. Love her and hope she have had her wonderful day! :D

Heading to my stitching and bed now since I promised to woke up early tomorrow for boiling our hotdogs and hams for our pinic.
Tomorrow will be a better day.

Day Thirty-two - 25 Sept 08

Our last day of IS lesson with Xiao Ling Lao Shi today.
She will always be remembered as the teacher who has more than 100 slides for every lessons.
A good teacher I must say because everytime during in the middle of the class, she will ask us if it's boring and stuff like this.
Felt guilty all of a sudden since I did slept in class sometimes, and when I turn my head back, I could only sees people's head lying on the table, sleeping soundly...
Team D with Xiao Ling Lao Shi and hope that her days will be as beautiful.
(: And MDE with her!
I love our smiles in this picture. :D

LAVENDER.
Thanks to the florist and my best roomies ever.
:D Work was overbearing here. Presentations, case study, videos, blogs, reflection. Tons of workload, and hope all of us are struggling well.
Presentation tomorrow, may it be a smooth one.
