Day Thirteen/Fourteen - 6/7 Sept 08

We are back from the 2 days 1 night trip to 绿林寨、美人谷、鸳鸯溪漂流 respectively for our water rafting and hiking. It was awesome and the place is way to gorgeous to be expressed in words.
Woke up at 6am yesterday to start up our journey with the 3+ hours bus ride. Passed their village and the road seems like one-way only. Eye-opener for me since this is kinda the first time I've passed the village.
Overheard the verbal conversation between Mr Puah and our driver that the people in that village got their annual salary with RMB3000-4000. Kinda shocking yet not so since they are related as the indigent country-area so their expenses need not be so much. Nevertheless, I've enjoyed the bus ride though it is a bumpy ride with the irritating horn. (:

No pictures for our water rafting since we got all wet. Will post the picture of our cute straw slippers next time which are suppose to wear during our rafting. And I must seriously thanks Karen for not despising me despite my first time rafting with such a lousy skill. Not only that, also appreciate all the helps and waiting from the peeps. THANKS YA! :D

After cleaning up and everything (their toilets have NO doors please), our tour guide bring us to the 美人谷 to check it out. And thanks Karen for helping me to take pictures again since wasn't in a good mood during that time. (:

The waterfall and the scenery makes me remind of the time I had in Pelepah waterfall. It's beautiful.Finishing our sight-seeing that we settled our 1 night at the hotel there. After 2 whole weeks, we are so so excited to see the springy beds with the fluffy pillows and television! It seems like we've been banish from the real world for a long long time.
Shared the room with Clar, the two sisters in spite of having 2 rooms for 4 people. Only complain was the number of flies and spiders in the room for 2. :DThe guys went to buy the fireworks (see, we can fired fireworks anytime there but sadly not in S'pore) and it was hell great and pretty!

Got up early this morning to had our healthy hiking which was good since I've sweat alot and climbed pretty much of the stairs. Again, the place spells a-m-a-z-i-n-g. :DUs with the happy jumping!

Travelled higher to the top of the mountain and the breeze there was. speechless.
Cows are seen there.

The top of the mountain!A good trip indeed. Picture taken by Mr Puah at the middle of the place where we dine.
Haa, just the pictures of the day took by me and Karen. See, maybe we really have some photograph skills in us. :D

We must preserve racial and religious harmony.
We value our diversity and are determined to stay as a united people.
During this trip and staying together for exactly 43 days, there's alot of things for us to realise and find out. Regardless of between each of us or Wuhan. Nevertheless, felt safe and feeling good all along this trip with people taking care and looking after each other. Not to say about S'pore, I believe whichever country's students come to another country to study will do the same as what we had now. Stay united? Yes we are. Hope I'm not wrong 'cos I'm glad with what I'd believe.
