We went in to the temple though I just pray outside of it. And heard that both Willis and Yu Ting was con RMB100 as they went in to pray without knowing how much they should pay. At first the people asked for RMB399 and on.
So people, next time do ask clearly before praying.
Saw this man doing some wushu. And Karen and I took picture with him while he was resting.Yeap, saw my surname 白and my mummy's 侯. Inside is the history of how the surnames come from.
Though I've been to Genting when I was like 4-5 years old, I think Genting look like this, but it is more misty here and colder. So cool.
Shared the budget hotel with both of roomies. At least there's a comfortable bed to sleep on. Somehow the tour agency wasn't very productive since some of us (with the ECE peeps) have to stay in different hotel instead of staying together.
Day 2
Went to the same place again, but this time we are heading to the 金顶 and we've spent RMB95 for the cable car which took us 2+ hours to wait for our turn.
So many people queuing up.
Cable car was only for 2 sitter and that's Clar and me.
We followed what others did. To leave our name behind in the cable car. (:Team D reaching the 金顶
And along the way there's lots of locks. To see clearly, it have the date and name of the person.
To wish for 平平安安. And so I made one for my family.
:DAnd it's locked!
*thanks to clar! And we reached the peak of 武当山after climbing umpteen of steps up.
Saw our background? It's the cloud. We are so near to the clouds.
Wasn't quite a pleasant trip since to be frank the tour agency and the tour guide was rather lousy. To ask us to be on time, she shouldn't tell us in a harsh tone or whatsoever.
As she knows that we are as a big group, sometimes it's hard to control everyone, let alone the time we had.
Not only that, the driver was pissed with us since we reached at 3 instead of the appointed time 12pm. Causing him to delay his lunch (it's not just him, we also!) that he thinks that we don't know how to listen to chinese that he told other driver sarcastically, said that S'pore's time was different from China: their 12pm is our 6pm.
What more he called us Singaporean: from outerspace!
What on earth is that!? Honestly it's not exactly our fault! We spent half of our time waiting for the cable car and by the time we reached the place from cable car, the watch stated 1120am. Is it our fault then. What most is that the tour guide was with us, why can't she explain to him on blah blah blah.
*pisssed.
But still, enough of the complaining since we reached WUST safely at 9pm.
4. No one owes Singapore a living.
We find our own way to survive and prosper, turning challenge into opportunity.
To relate with the incident we met with for this past 2 days. YES. the bus driver DID NOT own us anything. We take care of ourselves or rather, each other, and his job was to bring us safely to and from 武当山 and WUST. So what's he complaining about.
Yeap, another incident was our journey to their zoo. We read the map and take the bus ourselves to the zoo, didn't gave up halfway through when we think we are somehow lost and clueless about our next step. What we only do is to ask the local on the way, and thus, we have reached the zoo safely.
Challenge? Yes, since that was the first time we are alone, without any local students leading us or any teachers.
Opportunity? Of course, this is the opportunity for us to be independent and find the way back ourselves. Learning to be strong.
This should be the last picture I took Hergrey; since while 3 of us are prepared to leave the hotel, Adelene came to us and said that Hergrey wasn't moving anymore.
Imagine, the night before I was playing with and talking to her; cleaned her shit twice; and she urinated on Weiling's bed. But... what a morning.
Wasn't prepared for anything and yes, couldn't control myself.
Planned to buried her back here WUST, but we are afraid of the awful smell coming from the body and thus we've got no choice but to bury her at 武当山.
Well, she left us before we leave her.
At least we did not need to worry about where is she gonna's live if we need to be back in 15 days...
Hergrey, in memories...
*I miss you so much.
